Bucks County Cabaret ...one year later

One year ago, Hugh Panaro charmed the audience at a benefit for amFAR held at Carousel Farm just outside New Hope, Pennsylvania

The concert was one of his first post-Lestat performances. It included such songs as "At Long Last Love," "Right Before My Eyes, "Someone To Watch Over Me," "What It Happens To You" (from The Red Shoes), "Never, NeverLand," a devilishly funny "Sara Lee," a haunting "Music of the Night," and finishing with "Being Alive" as a preview of his then new role as Bobby in Company.

Accompanied by Phil Reno on the piano, Hugh showed off the natural charm that makes him such a wonderful concert artist.

Following the show, Hugh was surprised with a special gift from friends...a memory quilt. Planned and assembled by Shirley, the quilt was a tribute to Hugh as performer and as a person.

None of us who were present that evening will forget it any time soon!

Hugh was so gracious that night. (Even with his spider bite. Poor thing) I have never been more honored to be a part of something for such a wonderful man. Hugh is a gift to us all. I simply adore him. :)
